Team Building Away Days have changed! Though we could put your Team through an “SAS, Who Dares Wins!” type of challenge, if you want to genuinely build the Trust, Respect, Empathy, Emotional Intelligence and Vision,  leave your wellies at home, we can bring our ‘inward-bounds’ course to you. 

Our Away Days are comprised of a variety of bespoke workshops that demonstrate the way to unleash the collective potential in Teams in order to maximise their effectiveness and to create thriving teams. The sessions explore Team dynamics, Team psychology, Shared Visions/Goals whilst also building Trust, Confidence, Motivation and Morale.

If your Away Day is at your location or an off-site location  – we can bring our Award Winning Mobile Team Challenge Kit – enabling us to deliver an “outward bounds experience”… IN doors! – with over 300 individual experiential activities…OR…. alternatively you can bring your team to an outdoor location in the beautiful Berkshire Countryside for a luxury day out with Pastries, Tea/ Coffee & Lunch etc

Developing Emotionally Intelligent, High-Performance SUPER-Teams

Emotional intelligence or EI is the ability to recognise, understand and handle your own emotions, and those of the people around you. A development of Self Awareness and Other Awareness makes E.I. the critical personal development tool for those wanting to excel at Leadership and those wanting to create or participate in High Performing Teams.

Perhaps you can’t quite assess why it is that a Group of Great People are, sometimes, unable to make a Great TEAM? Even Emotionally Intelligent SUPER Teams need regular “Effective Health Checks” and occasionally, re-visioning or re-alignment….why not book a “Service” for your Team to ensure that it’s operating at its optimum effectiveness and performance.

This one or two-day CPD Accredited Workshop from MTC utilises approved British Psychological Society’s Emotional Intelligence Profiling for each Team Member and will create a detailed assessment of the TEAM’s Emotional Intelligence.

“People seem different when they’re not in the Office!” – is a comment we hear frequently at the Outward Bounds Centre based in the beautiful Berkshire countryside. Just 2 minutes off the M4 and a 5 minute drive from the nearest railway station at Bracknell – we can even arrange transport to collect your team from the railway station. Upon arrival there will be a selection of pastries, fruit, teas, coffees etc to enjoy as we outline the day and agree the objectives and goals for the team. A selection of sandwiches, fruit and cakes plus drinks will be provided at lunch time and breaks throughout the day. 

Please note – This is NOT a Boot-Camp Experience!” ….. we are not looking for people’s “breaking points”! – in fact EVERY activity is a “Challenge by Choice” event – which means if a person does not want to compete in the activity – that’s OK… they will be given a non-active role in the task…. we like to makes sure that there are no spectators at a Mobile Team Challenge Away Day!  🙂

If you wan to develop a greater understanding of the characteristics of the personalities of the people in your team we also offer a variety of psychometric profiling tools which we can arrange prior to your away day and which we will expire on the day itself.

If you want to create (or remind) your Team of the Vision, the Dream, the Purpose of your team, we can include a motivational “Visioning Activity” – which always creates a buzz of excitement within the Team. Answer those questions…“where are we now?!… “where do we want to be in 12 months time?”...“how do we get there from here?”

If you want to develop Leadership, Empowerment, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Team Building, Communication Skills, Increase Self and Other Awareness with Emotional Intelligence…you will not be disappointed!
